Digital Visual Effects for Short Video Training in Depart. of Creative Technology & Multimedia i

MAC 2017 kick-off my first skill training for this year in KL. Here I am for a four days skill training for this department. Lessons in the fundamental of digital visual effects or CGI that was used in films and videos.

The software that was used was Adobe After Effects & Adobe Premiere in which the participants learned the from the basic understanding to the intermediate use of the software. They also learned how to set-up a green screen scene and shooting by using a DSLR and smartphone to record the source video.

The source video will then be use to composite with CGI elements in After Effects, motion tracking and rotoscoping the effects so that it will match with the video

On the final day, the participants use the knowledge that they have learned for three days and adapted them in their short video production. Congratulations on a job well done and a lesson well learned.
